On top of franchise-wide decisions like that, each of our stores takes its own unique initiative on this front. Already this year, our South Austin store is participating in the fifth annual Austin Give 5% to Mother Earth campaign.
On Earth Day, local businesses like South Austin UM will donate 5 percent of their gross sales to benefit seven environmental nonprofits in the Austin area. Beneficiaries include Clean Water Fund, The Friends of Barton Springs Pool, Hill Country Conservancy, Texas Campaign for the Environment Fund, Texas Land Conservancy, TreeFolks and Urban Roots.
